$1 billion mixed-use project, The District in Davie begin construction this year

El-Ad National Properties, a subsidiary of Elad Group, plans to develop a $1 billion mixed-use project called The District in Davie, 24 miles north of Miami.

The 2.8 million-square-foot development will consist of 1,256 apartment units across five high-rise buildings, 36,000 square feet of ground-floor restaurant and retail space, and 1.1 million square feet of onsite parking. Amenities include pools, fitness centers, dog parks, coworking spaces, and more. Green elements like electric vehicle charging stations, bicycle storage, and LED lighting will also be incorporated. Construction is set to begin later this year, with the first phase of development expected to be completed in 2025.
