Apple plans biggest-ever Miami offices at The Plaza in Coral Gables and confirms a new Downtown retail store at the highly-anticipated Miami Worldcenter

Apple is gearing up to enhance its operational footprint in Florida by setting up a new 45,000-square-foot office space within the affluent Coral Gables district.

This signifies a considerable scale-up from its present Miami base, which primarily supports its Latin American and advertising operations. While the specific functions of the new office in Apple's business ecosystem remain unclear, its substantial size indicates a significant role in the company's broader strategy.

The upcoming Apple office will be located in The Plaza Coral Gables, a prestigious commercial venue that is home to several high-profile companies, including Raymond James. This expansion mirrors the recent moves from other tech giants like Microsoft and Amazon, underscoring Miami's emerging status as a crucial technology hub.

This move is part of Apple's broader strategy in Miami, which also includes the opening of a new Apple Store at the Miami Worldcenter. The upcoming Apple Store at Miami Worldcenter, encompassing a space of 16,629 square feet next to World Square, is estimated to cost $12 million to build. Designed with a focus on enhancing the pedestrian experience and environmental sustainability, the project plans include landscaping with native plants, the use of environmentally friendly materials like FSC-certified mass timber and recycled content, and a green roof. This initiative reflects the Miami Worldcenter’s dedication to fostering a green, eco-conscious community.
