Roost is a masterful creation by designers Mike Nuzzo and Kyle Franz, with Ran Morrissett serving as the Golf Course Architecture Advisor. The course stretches over 7,200 yards, weaving through diverse landscapes—from sandy areas adjacent to their 18-hole Karoo course, to rolling meadows dotted with flowering dogwoods and wildflowers, and even incorporating a striking 40-foot-deep sinkhole. Distinct features of the course include dramatic 50-foot elevation changes and moss-draped oaks that are a favorite roosting spot for the wild turkeys inhabiting the area.

Inspired by these turkeys, the course’s logo pays homage to the native Osceola turkey, a sight familiar to players at Roost. This design symbolizes the unique wildlife of Florida's Nature Coast, which both Roost and our existing Karoo course celebrate.

Located in a region renowned for its abundant wildlife, Cabot Citrus Farms marks Cabot's inaugural venture in the United States and is poised to become a premier golf destination. Slated for a grand opening in October, this 1,200-acre development offers not just two main 18-hole courses—Karoo and Roost—but also two short courses, The Wedge and The Squeeze, designed for a world-class golf experience.

The development of Cabot Citrus Farms is a transformative project for the region, enriching the local landscape with innovative golf course designs that blend wide fairways and strategic play. This venture continues the Cabot Collection's legacy of exceptional golf and resort experiences globally, making it a future landmark for golf enthusiasts and families looking to create lasting memories.
