Good Night John Boy just made its Delray Beach debut, opening its doors last night to the public, bringing a full-throttle 1970s nightlife experience to the heart of downtown. Located just off Atlantic Avenue at 33 SE Third Avenue, this groovy new hotspot blends retro charm with high-energy dancing—and it's already turning heads.

Housed in a 5,100-square-foot space once home to the Delray Beach Market, the venue transports guests straight into the golden age of disco. From neon signs and wood-paneled walls to vintage posters and TV commercials. The custom-lit dance floor pulses under nightly DJs spinning vinyl-era classics.

Created by Forward Hospitality Group, Good Night John Boy pays homage to the iconic sign-off line from The Waltons, while celebrating a time when music, self-expression, and uninhibited fun ruled the night. The Delray outpost joins a growing list of locations across Cleveland, Chicago, St. Petersburg, San Diego, and Columbus.

On the menu: throwback cocktails like the “Mood Ring,” made with 818 Tequila and an edible glitter bomb, and the “Disco Punch,” served in a take-home mirrored cup. The “Dirty Ashtray”—a Miller High Life with a mezcal sidecar—is another favorite, complemented by a full list of seltzers, brews, and bottle service.

The kitchen runs in partnership with Midwest staple Sexton’s, dishing out Brooklyn-style pizzas, burgers, tenders, and the playful “Johnny Meal,” complete with fries and a toy.
