The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts is opening a new hotel and residential complex in Jacksonville

In a major development for Jacksonville's downtown area, a partnership between Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Iguana Investments Florida LLC, led by Shahid Khan, continues to shape. This collaboration aims to establish a new hotel and residential complex as part of the ambitious Jacksonville Shipyards project. Slated to open in 2026, the Four Seasons Hotel and Private Residences Jacksonville is set to transform the city's hospitality landscape.

The project, comprising 170 rooms and suites, 26 private residences, and multiple dining options, will become a focal point in the revitalization of the Jacksonville Shipyards. Its proximity to the Sports Complex and the future EverBank Stadium positions it as a central hub for sports and entertainment in the city.

Bart Carnahan of Four Seasons highlights the company's commitment to contributing to Jacksonville's growth and enhancing its appeal as a destination for residents and visitors. The development is expected to offer a mix of luxury accommodations, dining experiences, a world-class spa, outdoor pools, and a dedicated kids' program.

Notably, the project's design involves several renowned firms. Pininfarina America initiated the conceptual design, with HKS as the lead design architect. ODA is handling interior design, and EDSA is responsible for landscaping. The design aims to merge modern aesthetics with timeless elegance.

This development marks the second collaboration between Khan and Four Seasons, following Khan's acquisition of Four Seasons Hotel Toronto in 2016. The Jacksonville project joins an array of Four Seasons properties in Florida, including Orlando, Palm Beach, Surfside, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and an upcoming resort in Naples.

The Jacksonville Shipyards development extends beyond the hotel and residences, encompassing a six-story office building, a revamped marina, parks, and a medical component in its second phase. Khan's vision for the project centers on boosting employment, tourism, residential living, and local business growth, with the Four Seasons establishment playing a pivotal role in downtown Jacksonville's future.

Khan expresses his passion for both Jacksonville and Four Seasons, envisioning a synergistic relationship that will elevate the city's profile. The project is seen as a transformative force for Jacksonville, bringing a new level of luxury and community engagement to the downtown area.
