The Par 3 golf course saw 55,481 rounds played, surpassing the previous year's total by 1,000. This increase contributed to a significant revenue jump, with the course earning over $5.09 million, which is $600,000 more than the previous year. Pro-shop sales alone generated over $878,000, setting another record. Bresnahan attributed this success to improvements in golf operations, including a redesigned putting green, expanded parking, and enhanced marketing efforts in collaboration with the Golf Channel. Set to open in early 2024, a new short-game area is coming to Palm Beach Par 3!

The Recreation Advisory Committee also acknowledged the valuable contributions of Assistant Golf Manager Sabrina Gordon and Superintendent Tim Campbell. The department's golf teaching program reported its most profitable year, and the tennis division, led by Head Pro Dejan Minic, experienced high demand at the Seaview and Phipps Ocean Park tennis centers.

Bresnahan highlighted that the department met its cost-recovery goals across all divisions, with golf achieving 176%, tennis 95%, and recreation 69%. He noted these figures were comparable to the previous year, with tennis seeing a slight increase and recreation a small decrease.
