Workforce-housing units coming to West Palm Beach Summer 2024

Updated: Jul 15

Architect Keith Spina and real estate developer Frank Navarro are joining forces to build a new type of apartment building in West Palm Beach, Florida.

Workforce-housing units coming to West Palm Beach Summer 2024

The 88 units at 512 Clematis will be located on a vacant lot at the corner of Clematis Street and Quadrille Boulevard, near the Brightline passenger train and The Square mixed-use complex. Thirteen of the units will be designated as workforce housing, which are priced at a lower cost than market rate rents for middle-class residents. Rents for the units not subject to income restrictions could range from $2,200 to $2,400. The unusually small apartments will range from 450 to 750 square feet and emphasize community, with a club room, a fitness center, a covered outdoor lounge, a barbecue grill, a soaking pool, and "nooks and crannies and courtyards" where people can gather. The apartment building will have only 21 parking spaces, with the developers believing that the target market is tenants who will not have a car.
