Wynwood Plaza in Wynwood Arts District reaches milestone with top-off of twelve-story office tower

The 12-story office tower at Wynwood Plaza has reached its final height, marking a significant milestone for the development team of L&L Holding Company, Oak Row Equities, Shorenstein Properties, and co-investor Claure Group. Located in Miami's vibrant Wynwood Arts District at 95 Northwest 29th Street, the tower is a key component of a larger one-million-square-foot mixed-use project. The design is the work of architectural firm Gensler.

James Corner Field Operations has designed a half-acre public plaza for the development, which is set to become the largest of its kind in the Wynwood Arts District and one of Miami's most expansive public spaces.

The construction progress is evident, with recent images showing the office tower at its full height and the curtain wall installation over halfway complete. Additionally, the adjacent residential building is approaching its final height.

Beyond the office tower, Wynwood Plaza is set to feature a residential building with 509 upscale rental units. The development will also include a variety of indoor and outdoor retail spaces, cafes, and restaurants. Wellness features in the office tower include efficient floor plans, column-free spaces, private tenant terraces, and large windows to allow for abundant natural light.

Marcelo Claure's leading investment firm, Claure Group, has secured a 25,400-square-foot space on the eighth floor. Additionally, national law firm Weitz & Luxenberg will establish its first Miami office on the second floor, occupying 18,000 square feet. David Levinson and Robert Lapidus of L&L Holding Company commented on the project's progress, stating that Wynwood Plaza is well-positioned to attract a diverse range of top companies upon its opening in early 2025.

Erik Rutter and David Weitz from Oak Row Equities praised the rapid and high-quality construction at Wynwood Plaza, noting that the development has already begun to attract top-tier tenants.

Amenities for office tenants will include a fitness club, cafe, bar lounge, and various collaborative spaces. The tower will also incorporate advanced features such as air filtration systems, touchless entry, rapid connectivity, and a dedicated parking area.

On the residential side, construction is progressing steadily. The apartments will feature tall windows, modern appliances, and flexible layouts. Residents will have access to amenities such as multiple rooftops, outdoor pools, a sauna, hot tub, co-working spaces, and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Retail offerings at Wynwood Plaza will span 32,000 square feet, including 6,600 square feet dedicated to outdoor dining. The retail mix is expected to include lifestyle boutiques and fast-casual dining options.

Moss Construction is the project's general contractor, working alongside shell contractor Tekton Construction. Other contributors to the project include Doka for formwork solutions, Cemex for concrete materials, and Morrow Equipment for crane assembly. The entire development is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2025.
